Dante Ventresca has more than two decades of experience in health information technology leadership and innovation in creating practical solutions for the complex healthcare landscape. He has directed the technology initiatives of all sizes of healthcare entities, from large international enterprises to small and medium sized organizations.

Mr. Ventresca works closely to align technology with the strategic needs of the healthcare environment and identifies opportunities to ensure the organization is technologically prepared to maximize those opportunities. He has been instrumental in using technology to lead the organization towards new value-based models of care delivery. He is opening new paradigms of care and championed technology for programs including chronic care management, advanced data analytics to identify at-risk patients, and physician productivity and quality of life improvements.

Prior to joining Central Ohio Urology Group as CIO, Mr. Ventresca worked with OhioHealth, where he was the Senior Architect responsible for OhioHealth’s ambulatory EMR systems and the technical planning and management of acquisitions and onboarding of acquired technology into the OhioHealth environment. He served on the CIO’s select advisory council.

Mr. Ventresca has been actively involved in health information initiatives such as HL7 and routinely completes technical reviews of the impact of emerging legislation and regulations on healthcare. His background includes serving as an IT and healthcare consultant, a Branch Partner for a national IT consulting firm and as lead architect for a Health Information System. Other experience includes leadership at Future Now, NC Group and LiTel after beginning his career at Battelle Memorial Institute. Mr. Ventresca received a BS in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
