Vice President, Business Development U.S. Urology Partners
Ron Hewett has over 30 years of experience providing strategic planning and leadership across a myriad of healthcare organizations. He spent more than 15 years in the pharmaceutical industry holding senior sales leadership roles with Schering-Plough, Xcel and Valeant Pharmaceuticals.
Mr. Hewett then transitioned into VP Sales for Oppenheimer Urologic Laboratory, a urology-specific reference laboratory with a national presence. OURLab was eventually purchased by BioReference, an OPKO Health company. Mr. Hewett went on to serve as a VP Sales for PathGroup, the largest privately held laboratory in America. He then served as Principal and Executive VP of Sales for Rural Physician Partners, a rural health offering in diagnostics, sleep and pharmacy. Recently, Mr. Hewett has served as VP of Business Development for American Pathology Partners, where his role was to identify privately held laboratories for purchase, and as VP Business Development for Paladina Health.
Mr. Hewett received a Master of Business Administration from Wake Forest University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill.
